potatoes - 2 med. size
methi leaves(fenugreek) - 1/2 bunch- finely chopped
onion - 1(chopped)
green chili paste - 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
curry leaves - 1 string
garlic - 2 cloves - finely chopped
oil - 1 tbsp
Method:
1) Cut potatoes in 1" size. Put these potatoes in water, otherwise it turns black.
2) Heat oil in a pan. Add onion, curry leaves, garlic. Saute till onion turns transparent.
3) Add rest of the ingredients, methi leaves, potatoes and stir it.
4) Add 1 cup of water, cover the lid. Cook till potatoes are well cooked and all the water evaporates.
It goes well with rotis.
